Popping Paths is a pair of small quilts that examine the branching, unpredictable, and interconnected nature of our lives’ journeys. Created alongside the larger quilt Pop That Pussy in the Direction of Your Dreams, this series considers how bold, joyful action— especially when directed towards collective empowerment — can generate new pathways for all involved.

Each quilt in Popping Paths maps possibility: not as a fixed route, but as a series of openings that emerge when we make space for others to shine. The designs evoke motion, choice, and emergence—drawing on the visual language of both divergence and convergence to explore how our paths are shaped by the opportunities we extend and receive.

This series celebrates the generative power of shared growth. It suggests that, by uplifting one another, we multiply the directions in which we can move.
